Robbins Desktop Streamer

This Page is for the Desktop Streamer Download for my APP.  It does not work alone. This is just an installer for the Desktop Streamer for the base app. ( Also, the Desktop Streamer only works well with VIRTUAL DESKTOP) Any other video source options works without Virtual Desktops assistance. 

How to connect

1. On the PC, download and install Robbins Desktop Stream. Open it. You should get a box that says ENTER CODE.
2.  Open Virtual Desktop App and connect to PC via Virtual Desktop Streamer
3. Put on the headset and open Robbins VR APP in Google Chrome Browser.
4. Open menu → Activate video source → Desktop Streamer.
5. The headset will show a short code. Type that code on the PC and click Link this PC.
6. Leave the PC app running in the tray. On the headset, Desktop Streamer should show your desktop.

Same Wi‑Fi. First time only needs the code. After that, start the PC app, then pick Desktop Streamer.

The PC will keep playing sound unless you mute its speakers. Volume on the PC also changes the stream volume.

Windows may warn when you install Robbins Desktop Stream. The app is new and not yet signed with a paid publisher certificate. SmartScreen or antivirus (AVG, Avast, Defender) can say “unknown publisher” or scan it and reopen the window once.

That is the installer being checked, not a virus scan of your desktop.

Click More info → Run anyway. If antivirus quarantines it, restore it and add C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Local\Programs\desktop-sender to that app’s exceptions.

Do not turn antivirus off. After you allow it once, it should stop popping up.
